Today’s podcast is about teaching children the importance of knowing the proper name of all of their body parts. Yep, even their penis and vagina! Just a reminder this is NOT a sex education podcast. This podcast is about protecting children from being sexually abused and getting them the help they need in the event someone is trying to sexually abuse them, or if they have been sexually abused. Children need to know the proper name of their genitals to have the language to tell a safe adult if someone is touching them inappropriately or making the child touch the offender's genitals. It's 2024. It's time to change social 'norms' to better protect our children!

We've added a new link to our list of helpful child sexual abuse prevention organizations to provide you with additional information, enoughabuse.org. Check it out!
